The event came up at the
time when many where downcast but the inspirational songs and hymns and the
performances put up by the Great Remo Chorale lifted the soul of everyone in

Oyewole Oyediran Steals Show
Oba Meshach Oyewole
Oyediran, the Olulamokun of Yakooyo (Oluyere II Olulamokun of Yakoyo land)
stood out at this year's Christmas Carol as he led the Great Remo Chorale all
through their ministration. Unsurprisingly, Oba Oyewole is the music director
of this great team. His sparkling shinning white attire and red crown added
glamour to his scintillating performances. As the conductor, he directed the
team so well that everyone would think that music is the only thing he does for
a living.
The
Great Remo Chorale Looks So Fine & Sings Well
Let us quickly tell you
that the Great Remo Chorale did not only look stunning, they also sing as
beautifully as they looked. Their class of music was out of this world.,
Starting from hymns, down to classical and African music, their performances
were topnotch. The team didn’t look short of an orchestra. They not just
entertained, they also ministered to the different classes of people in
attendance.
Three
Top Royal Fathers In Attendance
Three top Obas in Sagamu
were in attendance. They didn't just honour Barr Opeyemi Agbaje and the Great
Remo Chorale, their presence also added spice to the event. The Obas in
attendance include: HRM, Oba Solagbade Tijani, Alado of Ado, Sagamu, Ogun
State, Alaperu of Iperu, Oba Adeleke Idowu Basibo, Elepe of Epe Sagamu, Oba
Adewale Osideru.
Different
Families Make Special Presentation
The event was not about
the Great Remo Chorale alone, it was an evening of special family
presentations. Different popular families in Sagamu presented different carols
and hymns. Some of them are Bashorun Muyiwa Oladipo and Family presented Oore
Ofe Ohun, Elu agogo Olugbala de, Chief K.F Olayinka and family presented Ewole
Foba Ologo Julo and Gba Toba de, Otunba Seni Adetu and Family presented the
first Noel and 12 days of Christmas. Colonel D.D. Oyebanjo and Family presented
Standing on the promises of God and Gbogbo Aiye gbe Jesu ga. Mr Oladimeji
Oresanya and Family presented Once in a Royal David City and Holy night, Prof
Lawon Odusanya and family presented Angels From The Realms of Glory and O
little town of Bethlehem, Prince Timothy Okeowo and Family presented Hark the herald angels sing and go tell it to
the mountains while the Sir Abiodun Ogunkoya and Family presented Joy to the
world and we wish you a merry Christmas.

Donates Big Despite Absence
One of the top
dignitaries expected at the event was the former two-term governor of Ogun
State and ace politician, Otunba Gbenga Daniel. He was unavoidably absent but
his presence was hugely felt. He donated the sum of one hundred thousand naira
to the course of the Great Remo Chorale.

Opeyemi Agbaje And Family Make Presentation
Let’s also quickly tell
you the many roles Barrister Opeyemi Agbaje, the CEO, Ogun State Security Trust
Fund played at the event. Being the host, he made sure that everything at the
carol went as planned. A further investigation by the City People team also
revealed that he was the sole sponsor of the event. He also donated the sum of
fifty thousand naira to support the Great Remo Chorale. His family also made a
presentation. They presented Silent Night, Holy Night and Away in a manger.
Egbe
Obayori Obirin Akile Ijebu Is Here Too
Not many know that Barr
Opeyemi Agbaje is the Baba Egbe Obayori Obirin Akile Ijebu. Yes, he is and the
members of the egbe honoured their Baba Egbe. They also joined his family
presentation but that’s not their high point. Their high point at the event was
their superb Aso-Ebi. They stunned in a very attractive red, white and green
attire to match the Christmas colour.
