Family, friends, and well-wishers of a popular Lagos society woman, Mrs. Oluwayemisi Awe the adorable wife of Hakeem Awe stormed the Divine Glory Christian Center (DGCC) in Ikeja GRA, Lagos, on Sunday, July 11th, 2021 as she marked her 60th birthday in style.

normally, but ended on a high note as Pastor Femi Fadeyi, the Senior
Pastor of DGCC announced that Mrs. Awe was
to hold a Special Birthday Thanksgiving, as she just clocked 60.
Many of her
family members including children and grandchildren, friends, and close
associates all queued behind her as she gallantly danced through the auditorium
to the altar.
About The
Celebrant
Mrs. Oluwayemisi
Awe is
one of the big society women in Lagos. She has been in the
business of Buying and Selling for years. Years
back, she was one of the big merchants at the Old Alade Market in
Ikeja. She was popular then for her good quality fabrics just as
she is still well known now. She was also a society lady who was there for all
her friends. She is a very stylish woman and fashionable too. She is the wife
of Lagos businessman, Hakeem Awe.
YEMISI AWE IS A
Great Dancer
Did we tell you
that Yemisi Awe is a great dancer? Oh yes, she is. She was
allowed to appreciate God for seeing her through the sixth decade
and she didn’t disappoint. She had several minutes to dance to the glory of God
and convinced many that life begins at sixty with her steps. She is
indeed in vogue because many of her peers can’t even give you trending dance
steps, but she did that and very well too.
The Celebrant’s
Fashion Style
Expectedly, Mrs.
Awe stunned in very special attire on her big day. She was radiating
from head to toe in a shiny royal blue lace material with shoes and a bag to
match. Her appearance already told her fashion story. She is a woman who
understands what it means to look good.
Yemisi Awe’s Close
Circle Came Through For Her
Although it
wasn’t a party in any way, some of the celebrant’s close circle still made it
down to her church on this beautiful Sunday morning. Some of her
friends and family who were spotted in church were Lagos big boy, Tayo and

Oyinkan Adesanmi, Joke Olanipekun, Idowu Soremekun, Alaba Agbojo, Anita Yesufu
and Jibike Shomade.

the event were others like Anu Eso, Ayo Eso, Eldorado boss, Bolaji

Mrs. Awe On Life
At 60
The celebrant
while speaking on her life at 60 was full of gratitude to God,
her husband, Mr. Akeem Awe, and children who have
stood by her all these years. She revealed that nothing but the grace of God
had seen her through and that she would never take it for granted. “All
I have to say is thank you God for giving me a good husband and
children, keeping me safe and healthy. There is nothing more to say or want at 60
rather than thanking God because so many people had died
especially in the last year”, she concluded.
